Our state-of-the-art Flight Simulator is not just for instrument pilot training anymore.  With three 65" screens providing a 200 degree horizontal field of view, wrapped around a real aircraft cockpit, you can practice visual VFR flying maneuvers such as landing pattern, takeoffs and landings, turns around a point, s-turns, cross country pilotage using in-sim real-world landmarks, and even ground taxiing where our home N30 is faithfully reproduced down to the sign on our hangar.  Of course it is also a certified ATD that can be used to log instrument proficiency, and includes Foreflight or Garmin Pilot connectivity, Garmin 430 flight planning with instrument procedures, auto pilot, and even flight scenarios where an instructor can guide you using a real flight headset and simulated ATC commands.

These scenes are reproduced inside the flight simulator, which is running Lockheed Martin Prepar3d version 4 commercial flight simulator software.  Through regular updates coming from satellite and map data, all major land formations and many smaller features and cities and towns are built in, so that practice in the sim will give you situational awareness you would not have had otherwise once you are out for real in airspace for the first time.
